PRETECH Input Diagnostic Module

The PRETECH Input Diagnostic Module (IDM) can eliminate false shutdowns by differentiating actual conditions and erroneous signals caused by an open condition (such as broken wire), a short condition, and even ground faults. The PRETECH IDM saves countless hours of maintenance and troubleshooting by identifying whether a particular control wire has experienced an open, short, or ground. This DIN rail mounted module easily interfaces with existing systems and PLCs.

MONITOR INPUT WIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 • ACTIVE NORMAL CONDITION
 • FIELD WIRING OPEN (broken wire)
 • FIELD WIRING SHORT
 • FIELD WIRING GROUND FAULT

PRETECH Output Diagnostic Module

The PRETECH Output Diagnostic Module (ODM) ensures that faulted control wiring will be detected prior to attempted activation of vital equipment. The PRETECH ODM is able to perform specific functions such as activating back-up equipment, closing valves, operating solenoids, etc.

MONITOR OUTPUT WIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 • ACTIVE NORMAL CONDITION
 • FIELD WIRING OPEN (broken wire)
 • FIELD WIRING SHORT
